All reviewsReview of the bookmaker AbaBet from Legalbet
AbaBet is one of the most elite sports betting websites in Uganda, who has been operating for so many years on the gambling market. It is an extremely good brand in Africa, especially for accepting larger bets from its clients. On the platform, you have the chance to place your bets online, using your phone or visit some of the numerous local shops.
The sportsbook is very proud to offer the convenience of making phone bets, which means that as soon as you have a winning betting slip, you can withdrawal your funds instantly to your mobile money wallet. AbaBet may not have a welcome bonus but this does not mean that your stay on the site is not going to be full of pleasant emotions and nice moments.
We need to mention that despite the poor selection of sports and betting markets, there are some positives (not only the payouts). There is the excellent, very friendly and reliable customer support which can be reached at any time of the day. To sum up, AbaBet is one of Uganda’s most favourite sportsbook and if you do not have an account, you need to join!
Odds - Average
We calculated the margin for AbaBet by analyzing the odds they offer and placed them into one of the following three categories:
From 1% to 5%: Good value
Over 5% to 7%: Average value
Over 7% to 10%: Poor value
Football
We got our results by taking the "Match result" odds and also the over/under 2.5 goals odds for different matches in different football leagues. Getting the average results using this method, we were able to obtain the margins for each league and the overall betting margin for the bookmaker.
AbaBet has an overall average margin of 5.9% for football and falls in the average category. In the first section with Premier League and Bundesliga, the margin is at 5.87%. The second section with Spanish La Liga and Italian Seria A, the margin is at 5.05%. Finally, taking the French Ligue 1, Portuguese Primera Liga and Netherlands Eredivisie into account, the margin is at 6.79%.
Range of Sports and Markets - Poor
Range of Sports: On the site of AbaBet, you will have the opportunity to play only 2 sports - Football and eSports. All other events are disabled now and we have no information if they will be available for betting soon.
Range of Bets and Markets: Except for the very poor sports selection there are around 50-60 betting markets on a single football event. Though, even for the games from the Champions League and the other high profile leagues, all over the world, you cannot see more than 80 betting options, which is considered as something very poor too.
The best thing related to the betting markets and the range of the bets is the fact that you can stake the most standard options - 1X2, Over/Under, Double Chance and Handicap. For some of the games, you will have the chance to place your bets on interesting markets like Team to Keep a Clean Sheet and First Team to Score a Goal.
Betting Limits: There are standard and regular betting limits at AbaBet. The sportsbook is very loyal to its existing customers and you will not get restricted easily as soon as you are strictly following the terms and conditions.
In-Play Betting - Poor
Normally, when there are not that many betting markets and sports events, the in-play betting will be very poor compared to the competitors too. There is no cashout option available as a feature on the site and the betting options are limited a lot when it comes to placing bets on live. The only positive about the in-play betting is the fact that your stakes will be accepted for less than 7-8 seconds.
